Shipping & Delivery Policy

Order Confirmation

Once you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This confirms we have received your order and pre-authorised your payment.

We automatically check that your items are in stock and available for dispatch. If an item is on back-order or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorisation and contact you to discuss alternative arrangements.

If your item(s) are available for immediate dispatch, we will process the charges and begin preparing your order for shipment. A member of our team will contact you with any applicable freight or shipping costs (where applicable).


Standard Shipping – Furniture & Equipment

Order Shipment

  • In-stock orders are typically dispatched within 1–3 business days.

  • You will receive a shipping confirmation email within 24 hours of dispatch.

  • Contact us if confirmation is not received within 4 business days.

Shipping Costs

  • Competitive shipping rates across Australia.

  • Oversized furniture requires tailored freight quotes based on weight, dimensions, and delivery location.

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable once dispatched, except as required under Australian Consumer Law.

Delivery Method – Standard Furniture

  • Delivered via kerbside delivery to the nearest safe accessible point.

  • Items are palletised and unloaded using a tail-lift truck.

  • Drivers cannot move items inside premises or beyond pallet-accessible areas.

  • Deliveries occur Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm (excluding public holidays).

  • Oversized items are always identified on the product page.

Premium / White Glove Delivery (Furniture)

  • Available in selected locations and may include:

    • Room placement

    • Assembly

    • Packaging removal

    • Upstairs delivery (where safe and accessible)

  • Availability and pricing confirmed prior to dispatch.

  • Salon Foundry Co. is not liable for loss, damage, or injury caused by third-party delivery providers, to the extent permitted by law.

  • Customers are responsible for safe and adequate access, including doorways, hallways, lifts, and stairs. Additional charges may apply if access is insufficient.


Louvre Mirrors Collection – Shipping

Shipping Destinations

  • Australia-wide only. International shipping not currently available.

Shipping Fees

  • Included in the purchase price of all Louvre Mirrors products.

Delivery Timeframes

  • Melbourne Metro: within 7 days

  • Interstate: 2–4 weeks

  • Timeframes are estimates only and not guaranteed.

  • Time is not of the essence in relation to delivery.

  • Tracking details will be provided once your order has been dispatched.

Delivery Method – Louvre Mirrors

  • Delivered using white glove delivery as standard, including:

    • Placement in your room of choice

    • Removal of packaging materials

  • Professional installation may be available where specified.

  • Installation does not include electrical modification, wall reinforcement, or rectification of pre-existing structural issues unless agreed in writing.

  • Delivery areas must be clear, accessible, and safe.


Redelivery, Redirection & Additional Charges

Furniture & Equipment

  • Shipping fees apply to the first delivery attempt only.

  • Customers must ensure all delivery and contact information is accurate.

  • Incorrect or incomplete information may result in delays or additional charges.

  • For residential deliveries, an Authority to Leave (ATL) applies unless otherwise arranged in writing. Once the courier confirms delivery under ATL, risk in the goods passes to the customer.

Failed Deliveries

  • Small orders: $45.00 (inc. GST)

  • Large/bulky orders: $99.00 (inc. GST)

  • Redirection or order amendments: $30.00 (inc. GST)

  • Orders split into multiple deliveries: freight charged separately + $30.00 administration fee

Louvre Mirrors Orders

  • Failed deliveries due to inaccessible premises or incorrect information may incur additional white glove carrier redelivery charges.

Refused Deliveries

  • If delivery is refused without lawful reason, the customer is responsible for return freight, restocking fees (if applicable), and redelivery charges.


Apartment & PO Box Deliveries

  • We do not deliver furniture items to PO Boxes, apartments, or locations without direct ground-level access unless confirmed in writing prior to dispatch.

  • Louvre Mirrors white glove delivery may be available to apartments where lift access and safe conditions are confirmed in advance.


Damages & Claims

  • Inspect all items upon delivery.

  • If damage is visible:

    • Note it when signing for delivery, or

    • Refuse to accept the delivery

  • Take clear photos of any damaged packaging or products.

  • For Louvre Mirrors products, damage or issues must be reported within 48 hours.

  • Failure to report within the required timeframe may affect claim eligibility.

  • Submit all damage claims via our Returns page with supporting photographs.

  • Claims will be assessed and resolved in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.


Force Majeure

  • We are not liable for delays or failure to deliver due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

    • Carrier delays

    • Natural disasters

    • Industrial action

    • Supply chain disruption

    • Government restrictions


General

  • Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.
